석굴암은 인공으로 석굴을 건설한후 그위에 돌과 흙을 덮어서 완공한 것이다. 석굴내의 습기를 방지하기 위해 지붕이 이중구조로 된 것을 볼수 있다. 일본인들이 석굴암을 복원한다며 지붕에 콘크리트를 쳐바르는 짓을 하여 망쳐놓은 것이다. 일본인들은 일본에서는 천년된 유구에 콘크리트를 쳐바르는 짓은 하지 않는데 여기서 그짓을 한것이다. 일본에는 화강암이 생산되지 않기 때문에 일본인들의 화강석 석조술은 미개한 수준이다.

The Japanese ruined the roof by applying concrete to it to restore the Seokguram. In Japan, the Japanese do not apply concrete to thousand-year-old remains, but they did so here.
